Jackson County invites riders from across the region to the 3rd Annual Tour de Tuck Bike Challenge. We believe this will be one the most beautiful and toughest rides you will find. The event is named for the Tuckasegee River, which riders will see in the beginning and end of the ride, as it meanders through our scenic county.

The 105-mile ride has approximately 11,000 feet of elevation gain with a vertical mile between the high and low points on the route. Over 40 of these miles are on the Blue Ridge Parkway, giving us the distinction of having the most Parkway miles of any organized ride in the Appalachians.

The 60-mile route has approximately 6,800 feet of elevation gain with over 25 miles of riding on the Blue Ridge Parkway.

Testimonials
Great event, to ride on the Blue Ridge was a dream come true. I thank all the volunteers and helpers. To have folks at the intersections made this a safe and very enjoyable ride. I'll see you next year. - Richard North, Tryon, NC

This is an excellent ride. Great mountain scenery and the support staff did a fantastic job. I am already looking forward to next year. Thanks for organizing the event. – Dan Brown, Hendersonville, NC

I wanted to say thank you for a fantastic event. Having the volunteers at the turns was a great idea and really took a lot of the uncertainty of riding a new route. I will definitely be back next year, most likely with an extra gear or two. – Brett Arp, Greenville, SC

This is a great century! Thank you for putting on such a well organized event.  The volunteer staff did a wonderful job with the aid stations and making sure you didn't miss a turn. Hopefully this ride will continue for many years to come. Thanks to everyone who put in all the hard work to make this ride happen this year. Looking forward to next year! – Tim Fischer, Stone Mountain, GA
